Blue is by definition a classic color to make the bedroom restful, although to a certain point. This shade has earned its reputation thanks to its relaxing and soothing effect, though in most cases is applied in different shades and patterns. Paint and decorate their bedroom with the solid blue, the room could in fact take a look a little ‘too traditional and old-fashioned. We see, then, how to decorate a blue bedroom.
First we consider that each color gives a certain feeling, which then flows into a certain mood (according to the science of color therapy); accordingly, if you choose a particular color to a room of the house rather than another, it is necessary to be absolutely convinced also because, whether it is of a simple painted on the walls, that with regard to the colors of the furniture, it will not be as simple and inexpensive to replace them in the future. Once you’ve chosen the color blue for your bedroom, you have to match the walls and furniture.
Starting with the first option: you choose the “blue” because it gives a feeling of rest, relaxation, and is perfectly suited to your taste, then you can opt for two solutions. The first is to paint one or all of the chamber wall by choosing a solid color or dabbing it here and there with a gradient color (white and blue), as if to remind the foam of the waves. Whatever be your choice, you should not overdo it too much with the dark tint otherwise you risk getting tired because of low light, even if the room is equipped with a large window or balcony.
For the same reason, that is, if you opt for the painting of the walls of this color, it is good to lighten the tint striving fixtures, very light doors and windows (great contrast with the white color or the pearl). Even the furniture, such as cabinet, including the bed headboard, bedside tables and chairs if any, will have to fight with very light colors. A mirror with a silver frame will give a beautiful broken effect and at the same time, adds a touch of elegance. If there is a tendency of a blue decor, it must follow the opposite procedure, i.e painting the walls of the room with a very light color or with a buffered satin.
